A message from your president.
Hello, and welcome to the official site of the National Serama Club and Registry ( N.S.C.R.), the premier club dedicated to the Malaysian Serama (also known as the Ayam Serama, the smallest bantam chicken in the world.) here in the US. We pride ourselves on giving you, and continuously strive to provide you with, the most challenging, informational, rewarding, and fun Malaysian Serama Experience available to the Serama community.
The Malaysian Serama is a relatively new breed to the US, and as such, we are a relatively new club. We welcome your comments and your participation. We can assure you that the NSCR is a Serama Breed Club that seeks to provide its members with a sense of belonging, and benefits for their support and membership of this club.
At the National Serama Club and Registry our primary goal, is in promoting the breeding and exhibiting of the finest Malaysian Seramas possible. We want to positively influence the poultry world to see Malaysian Seramas for the beautiful and majestic birds that they are, and hope to someday be included in the great flock of the APA and ABA. We hope to achieve this by equipping you with the support, knowledge and quality birds necessary to accumulate and win top awards at major poultry shows, including Serama shows around the country. We also have a Serama standard of perfection that will enable you to realize what goals you should breed to, to achieve the ideal Malaysian Serama.
Our staff of board members and advisers is very knowledgeable, and welcomes your questions any time. Are you looking for a Serama forum? Check out our Message Board If you are interested in finding out about, or helping coordinate Serama events and Serama shows in your disctrict, please email your representative.
